ABOUT THE COLLEGE

EASWARI ENGINEERING COLLEGE, a unit of SRM Group of Educational Institutions for higher learning is functioning under “Valliammai Society”.

The society was founded in the year 1981, for promoting the cause of Quality Education by Dr. T.R. Pachamuthu an academician and Educationist. EEC instituted in the academic year 1996-1997, with the Approval of AICTE,New Delhi. The Institution is affiliated to Anna University, since 2002. College offers 8 Undergraduate Programmes and 11 Postgraduate Programmes covering Engineering and Technology, Computer Applications and Management. The Institution has a strong Industry Interaction with reputed National and International Organizations. The college has obtained ISO 9001:2008 Certification from TUV South Asia.  The college is accredited with ‘A’ Grade by NAAC.

            

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Civil Engineering has been established in the College since the year 2007-2008 with an annual   intake of 60 students. The intake is increased to 120 from the academic year 2012-2013. PG Structural Engineering started in the year of 2013-14 with the intake of 18. To provide basic and advanced knowledge and skills among civil engineering students so as to meet the changing industrial and research needs to become the acknowledged leader in the civil engineering. With  the  concurrent  acquisition of technical skills in laboratories, inspiration and awakening of the young minds by vibrant teachers, the students are engaged   intellectually, in the college. The program is accredited by NBA.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

​

The development of technology with many new techniques find their application in the civil engineering to deal   with the infrastructure and environmental management. NCSHMEM’18 was initiated with   an objective of disseminating the latest developments in Structural Health Monitoring and Environmental Management to research scholars, academicians, students   and    industrialists. This conference provides an opportunity for delegates and scientists to exchange new   ideas and research findings.
